mimekit - MimeKit 5.0.0.2552

MimeKit is an Open Source library for creating and parsing MIME, S/MIME and PGP messages on desktop and mobile platforms. It also supports parsing of Unix mbox files.

  As of v5.0, MimeKit is a meta-package that references both MimeKit.Core (MIME creation and parsing) and MimeKit.Cryptography (OpenPGP, S/MIME, DKIM, ARC and DMARC support). This preserves backwards compatibility for consumers that expect cryptography support out of the box. If you do not need cryptography, reference MimeKit.Core directly instead.

  • MimeKit is now a meta-package that references MimeKit.Core (MIME creation and parsing) and MimeKit.Cryptography (S/MIME, PGP/MIME, DKIM, ARC and DMARC). MimeKitLite has been retired; use MimeKit.Core instead.
  • Promoted the new MIME parser (formerly ExperimentalMimeParser) to MimeParser. The previous implementation is available as LegacyMimeParser.
  • CryptographyContext no longer registers a default S/MIME context. Applications must explicitly register the context they want. This makes MimeKit AOT-compatible.
  • Added DMARC validation, MIME compliance violation reporting, a redesigned TNEF API with TnefWriter, and the RtfToText and RtfToHtml text converters.
  • Numerous performance improvements and bug fixes.
