mimekit - MimeKit.Cryptography 5.0.0.2432

MimeKit is an Open Source library for creating and parsing MIME, S/MIME and PGP messages on desktop and mobile platforms. It also supports parsing of Unix mbox files.

  MimeKit.Cryptography extends MimeKit.Core with support for OpenPGP, S/MIME and DKIM/ARC using BouncyCastle.Cryptography. Reference this package (or the MimeKit meta-package) when you need cryptography features.

  • Removed base, embed, input, link and source tags as "unsafe" tags. These are all void tags in HTML, meaning they do not have inner content. (issue #1247)
  • Fixed InternetAddressListConverter to allow conversion of empty strings into an empty list. (issue #1249)
  • Fixed NullReferenceException in BouncyCastleSecureMimeContext when SubjectKeyIdentifier is requested but not available. (issue #1250)
  • Fixed MimeReader to support MimePart content larger than 2GB. (issue #1252)
  • Fixed Message-Id parser to not decode international domains. (issue #1254)
  • Bumped System.Security.Cryptography.Pkcs dependency to 10.0.0.
  • Bumped System.Text.Encoding.CodePages dependency to 10.0.0.
  • Bumped BouncyCastle.Cryptography dependency to 2.7.0.

Note: As of BouncyCastle 2.7.0, decrypting S/MIME content encrypted with Blowfish, CAST5, RC2/40, RC2/64, or RC2/128 will fail with a CmsException: no fixed size for content-encryption key; constant-time RSA unwrap unavailable.
