mimekit - MailKit 5.0.0.1761

MailKit is an Open Source cross-platform .NET mail-client library that is based on MimeKit and optimized for mobile devices.

Features include:

  • MailKit now depends on MimeKit.Core instead of MimeKit and no longer depends on BouncyCastle. S/MIME, OpenPGP, DKIM and ARC support requires the MimeKit.Cryptography package and a call to CryptographyModule.Initialize (). MailKitLite has been retired; use MailKit instead.
  • Send () and SendAsync () now return a SendResult (with AcceptedRecipients and RejectedRecipients) instead of a string. Per-message SMTP options such as DSN are now configured via SmtpSendRequest.
  • The ImapCapabilities, SmtpCapabilities and Pop3Capabilities flag enums have been replaced by read-only capability sets keyed by the ImapCapability, SmtpCapability and Pop3Capability enums.
  • Message sizes, folder sizes and quota limits are now 64-bit (long) values.
  • Added ImapIdleSession (via ImapClient.CreateIdleSession ()) to simplify monitoring a folder for changes.
